Presentation of research results at the Annual Meeting of the European Network for Sociological and Demographic Studies on Divorce
From 14 to 16 October 2020, the 18th Annual Meeting of the European Network for Sociological and Demographic Studies on Divorce was held, in a virtual form, at the University of Cologne; an event to which the MobileKids team participated. Laura Merla, Sarah Murru, Bérengère Nobels, and Coralie Theys presented a paper entitled ” Analysing the experience of shared custody arrangements in Belgium and Italy through the lens of the ‘democratic family’ “ in which they highlighted how children are concretely involved in the daily coordination of shared physical custody, how this manifests itself differently in the two national contexts and how this refers (or not) to the concept of the ‘democratic family’ developed by de Singly (2012).
The results of this presentation will be presented in a forthcoming publication; stay tuned.
